November Numerology Forecast

Hello dear reader, and welcome to the monthly Numerology forecast!

If you don’t know me yet, let me introduce myself — my name is DaisyJane, I’m 26, and I live in the beautiful city of Seattle, WA. I’ve been studying the mystical language of numerology for over a year and my Life Path is 11/2 (if you don’t know what that means, don’t worry! We’ll get into it.)

If you are already comfortable with the basics of numerology, feel free to jump right on down to November’s insights (it’ll be in big bold letters when you scroll down)! For anyone who is unfamiliar with numerology, here is a bit of a crash course: 

Numerology is an ancient practice of reading the energetic imprints of numbers. Similar to how astrology maps the position and energies of the stars and planets, numerology explores the frequencies and positioning of numbers related to your birth (your personal chart) and the years and months you’ll live through. 

So, how does it work? 

Most numbers are derived from adding up all the single digits in a given set of numbers, often from a date, until you arrive at a final single digit. 

Let’s practice by finding your Life Path number (for those versed in astrology, this is similar to your sun sign.)

Add up all the single digits in your birthdate until you get to a single digit — unless it’s a double-digit, like 11, 22, or 33. 

Example: if your birthdate is 12/22/2001, you would calculate the following:

1+2+2+2+2+0+0+1 = 10

1+0 = 1

Example: if your birthdate is 2/12/1999, you would calculate the following: 

2+1+2+1+9+9+9 = 33

Here, the first person has a Life Path of 1 and the second person has a Life Path of 33. Each digit has a unique expression and characteristics that tell a story when we put it into context.

In addition to the nuances of our personal charts, we are all influenced by the overarching energies and themes that are present in the world at large - referred to as the collective. 

Each calendar year comes with a number known as the Collective Year. The energy of the year’s number will be present and affect all of us, both individually and on the global stage, to varying degrees. 

This year, 2024, is an 8-year (2+0+2+4=8), which means the world is experiencing heightened 8 energy. The 8 is all about abundance, manifestation, wealth, success, and balance between the spiritual and material worlds - and also lack thereof, so you may be experiencing ease or difficulties in these areas. 

Each month has a number as well. This is calculated by adding the calendar month to the Collective Year number. So, for this year of 2024, to find November’s Collective number, you would add 11 (as it’s the 11th calendar month) + 8 (Collective Year), which pairs down to 1 (1+1+8= 10; 1+0=1). 

The energy of this number, in the context of the collective, is the purpose of today’s forecast.

Energy overview of the 1 – New Beginnings 

The 1 is, quite obviously, the first of all the numbers. The significance of this is fairly literal and intuitive - the 1 signifies the beginning. This can manifest in a number of ways. 

In a person, the 1 might show its energy as the pioneer, the entrepreneur, the first person to try something new. It is the number of inspiration, innovation, ideas. It is also the number of leadership. People with 1 in their core charts are often seen as natural leaders, the one who other people tend to listen to and follow. 

In a situation, the 1 often signifies a new direction or a clean slate. Something has changed, and now the world is a blank canvas for you to paint. A new opportunity has appeared and you get to decide how to move forward with it. What steps will you take next? So fun!!!

The 1’s energy is very masculine, very action oriented. It is bold and courageous and inspired. It’s a fiery energy that burns bright, but also quick - which can lead to boredom or the tendency to jump from one thing to another if that fire isn’t fueled and sustained by other energies. However, as a whole, 1 is a very exciting and exhilarating number. The world is your oyster, you are the fool on the edge of the cliff. What amazing adventure awaits?

Welcome, my friends, to the beginning!

Well, sort of. The 9 energy of last month carried us through major themes of release and endings, that’s for sure. And usually, after an ending comes a new beginning! We certainly have that to look forward to in November.

But what I have found to also be true is that life is a pretty messy thing. Endings and beginnings don’t always happen exactly in that order - sometimes the beginning might come in before the ending really feels like it's been initiated - or before you’re ready to truly let go. (This feels kinda like a chicken or the egg discussion). 

It’s hard to say anything for sure, with our tiny human perspectives of the world. Perhaps it’s the beginning of the end that we see (but aren’t all beginnings a beginning of the end, if you think about it?). 

With that philosophical dilemma in mind, welcome to November - a month of philosophical dilemmas. Happy US presidential election! Woohooooo! And speaking of things that haven’t ended (like the erasure of indigenous history) happy Thanksgiving! I do love Thanksgiving and celebrate it each year, but it’s important to acknowledge the truth of its origins and how that resonates in the world today. If you live in the US like I do, don’t forget to get out and vote, and remember that the Indigenous peoples of this land are still to this day systemically kept from their cultures, history, and sacred lands. This is something we may not have played a part in inflicting, but can be a part of healing. This can be a great way to embody that 1 energy and learn something new to help support the collective to grow and heal!

The 1 energy of November is an invitation for change. New things are coming, and they’re coming in hot. In the bigger picture, Chinese astrology tells us that this year (2024) was the first in a new 20 year long phase, a phase governed by the number 9. The Age of Aquarius is transitioning, we’re moving between the masculine oriented 1000s into the feminine oriented 2000s (if you want to learn more about this just let me know!), and so many other big paradigm shifts are already happening unbeknownst to us. So we already know we’re in deep. Right now as a collective we are the phoenix in all of its phases, burning and incubating and opening our eyes reborn. 

But while you can’t control the wind, you can adjust your sails! 

For better or worse, we are being presented with times of greatness, and we get to choose what to do with that. I know that can feel wildly overwhelming, because you and I are just human! We can’t take on all of the responsibility of saving the world! And nor should we try. So don’t despair! The best way to save the world is to start with taking care of yourself, and then your community. Radiate that love and healing from the inside out, and pour from a full cup of love. Let’s just take it one small step at a time. 

I see this 1 month as a great invitation to look at where your life has naturally been shedding and wrapping up cycles, and decide to move forward in those areas with conscious intention. We are breaking out of the matrix, folks. That is going to look different for each and every one of us. How is it looking for you? 

As I said in the energy overview, 1 is a very exciting number. It’s all about doing and going and exploring new frontiers. Inspiration and productivity are bubbling up to meet us. Dive deep into your heart! What are your deepest dreams and desires? What lights you up and makes you feel exhilarated? This is your chance to get clear about what you want to call in, what you want to create. We are manifesting constantly. With every thought we think, every new habit we form, every cycle we break, we are creating our world. Act with intention. The 1 is here to help you get it started and make it happen! 

On the bigger scale, how can we each take this 1 energy and run with it for the greater good? What could you get involved in that supports your community? What can we do with all this juicy motivation and gusto? How can we spur action to imagine and create a world better than the one we are in now? This month is a call to action. Big 9 energy is on the horizon for everyone next year, and ideally we will meet it with a full tank of gas - action plans, inspiration, and imagination. 

The things that we start now will have a lasting impact on the months and year ahead. Here is a tangible example: January is also going to be a 1 month. This means that the things and themes that come up for us this November, both individually and collectively, will come back up again to the surface in the new year and will be re-evaluated, challenged, and supported in new ways. So make it count!

• Mars is all about conflict, and Mercury is all about communication. The collective is sailing into some crunchy peanut butter, friends. There are consequences to everything that we do. Just remember that you always have the ability to adjust your sails! When conflict arises and communication gets tricky, take a few deep breaths, and remember to hold compassion in your heart. Especially with this upcoming election, and the deep divisions we are seeing around the US - remember that we’re more alike than we are different, even though it might not always seem like it.

• Sow those seeds of change now so that we can come from a place of strength when these retrogrades arrive!
