April Numerology Forecast
From DaisyJane Darling
Hello dearest, and welcome to the April Numerology Forecast
Numerology is the study of the energetic patterns carried within numbers. Just like astrology maps planetary cycles, numerology maps cycles of numbers. Each year and each month carries a frequency that influences us collectively.
If you’d like to learn what your unique numbers can tell you about your personal experience of this year and the upcoming months (trust me, it’s good to know!), book a reading with me here!
While last month was about hard work and consistency, this month we need to expect the unexpected. The 5 is here to keep us on our toes and shake things up. Now that foundations have been laid with last month’s 4, we get to play, experiment, and push the boundaries on what is possible.
The Energy of the 5
“A little party never killed nobody.” - Fergie
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” - Ferris Bueller
Theme: Change, fun, spontaneity, travel, pleasure, mischief, rebellion, unconventionality
Empowered expression: Sociable, confident, bold, silly, fun, adaptable, adventurous, flirtatious
Shadow expression: Unstable, flighty, flaky, unclear boundaries, conflict, challenge
Astrology - Fire element
Sagittarius
Chakra - Sacral & Throat
governs communication,
Tarot - The Wheel of Fortune, the Tower
Change, re-direction, adventure
We’re Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time
The 5 is all about change, movement, travel, unconformity, unconventionality, and FUN. She likes to have a good time, and might be a little bit rebellious - but where’s the fun in always doing exactly what you should? And where’s the excitement in life going exactly where you think it will? Life is short, and sometimes we need a kick in the butt to remind us to actually live it.
When in balance, the 5 reminds us to not take things too seriously. We can’t be all work and no play - letting loose and enjoying the pleasures of life is an essential spiritual experience. It is a living prayer of gratitude. This month you might find your schedule full of lots of social plans, travel, and opportunities for fun. Lean into it! PLAY! Let go of your attachment to what is “supposed” to happen, and see where the wind blows you.
On the flipside, the shadow of the 5 can err towards irresponsibility. While I certainly recommend throwing one or two sheets to the wind this month, reel yourself in before the third and make sure you don’t forget to do your taxes. (Bonus points to anyone who makes the boring stuff fun by throwing a Paperwork Party & doing it with friends!).
4 and 5 - Enemies, or Lovers?
Though in many ways the 4 and 5 are polar opposites, they are also each other’s medicine. Just as an imbalance of 4 (monotony, rigidity, boringness, obsession with the rules) can be remedied by calling on the energy of the 5 (mixing things up, play, the unexpected, surprises, excitement, rebellion), the 4 can do the same for 5.
If you feel like the energy starts to get a little too untamed this month, lean into what you can control.
Find ways to create safety within change instead of resisting it.
A river will run faster if it has strong banks holding it in - anchoring into routine can provide the stability necessary to let loose in other aspects of life.
Find Your Anchor
If you have existing routines, determine your non-negotiables and simplify them so that they can still be realistically maintained amidst an unpredictable schedule. This will help you maintain healthy boundaries and keep caring for your body and mind, even if each day is completely different from the next.
Examples:
If your sleep schedule goes out the window because you’ve got so many late night invites, balance it by scheduling time for a little power nap during the day.
If you don’t have time to cook on your normal schedule, make time to meal prep (or sign up for a meal prep service for one week - they often have intro deals!) so you don’t have to worry about feeding yourself on the go.
Change is the Only Constant
While the routine and regularity of the 4 can provide safety and comfort, the 5 reminds us that nothing can stay the same forever - nor should we want it to. Change can sometimes be painful or difficult, but it also pushes you to grow, brings excitement and adventure, and makes life worth living.
Change is simply the progression of life; it is neither good nor bad, neither black nor white. The wheel of fortune is ever turning. Even when you find yourself at the lowest of the lows, the 5 brings reassurance that your fortunes may change at the drop of a hat. Just remember that we are never truly in control, and relaxing into the flow will make the ride much smoother.
The Parable of the Chinese Farmer always comes to mind when I think about the 5 and the fickleness of change. You can read it in this article and ponder! The commentary on the deeper meaning in this article is great food for thought.
Nothing is Ever Created or Destroyed - Only Composted
Don’t be surprised if last month you invested a lot of energy into a particular thing, only for the wind to change direction this month and take you down a completely different path. It doesn’t mean that work was all for nothing - it might just take a back seat for now, composting in the garden of your subconscious, so that later on it will be ready to incorporate into something even bigger and better than you originally imagined!
If your personal chart has themes of 5 or 9, you might have an easier time managing change than those whose charts do not contain these numbers, as they can support you to be more readily adaptable, accustomed to, or in favor of change. The Truth Will Set You Free
A key piece to riding the energy of the 5 (without ending in a crash and burn) is being honest with yourself. Check in to make sure that you aren’t using freedom and adventure as a front for evasion and escape.
The truth will set you free, but the truth can be a hard pill to swallow. Sometimes being honest with yourself is the hardest thing of all.
Doing the hard thing upfront will always make life easier in the long run. It’s easier to brush off cracks in the foundation rather than tearing down to start all over again. But if you keep building upon a cracked foundation, when lightning strikes your tower will come toppling down. When the universe has something to say (i.e. if you’re living out of alignment with your highest path), it has a way of getting you to listen. It’s in your favor to take heed when those messages are small whispers in your gut, rather than waiting for a storm to roll in.
A Rebel With A Cause
Rebellion from the norm is healthy, necessary, and inevitable. We find ourselves in uncommon times of great change, and the 5 is not only here to shake things up in our personal lives, but on the socio-political scale as well. This month, a collective 5 in a collective 1 year, brings a chance to shift the direction of history. The status quo is shifting on a cosmic level, and this month brings us courage, innovation, and fuel to La Resistance.
In practice, finding somewhere to channel this energy will probably be much less romantic than it sounds, and much less obvious. The most important work is the work that goes unseen. If you ever feel like you’re not doing enough, return to your body, the earth, and your community. We build from the ground up.
Main Takeaways:

Throw a Paperwork Party
Check-in / journaling questions for this month:
How can I bring more play, pleasure, or spontaneity into my daily life?
Where am I craving freedom? Where am I resisting change?
What are my non-negotiables that keep me anchored while everything shifts?
What experiences would I like to have (rather than goals I would like to achieve)?
What would it look like to follow my curiosity instead of my routine?
What am I using as a distraction instead of facing the truth?
How this interacts with your moon cycle:
Plan your schedule so that the extroverted activities take place during your upcoming Princess Phase, and at-home fun things during Goblin Phase.
If you’re bleeding → Journal on the change you would like to see in your life. Where are you craving freedom, and what does that mean to you? Rest, but while you’re in bed take some time to knock out a few boring adult things from your to-do list so you can have all the fun in your Princess Phase.
If you’re follicular → Try something new - explore a new part of town, try a new restaurant, take a different route home. Don’t make a plan and see what unfolds. Hone in on what brings you pleasure, and savor in the joys of being alive.
If you’re ovulating → Go out dancing! Go on a trip! Share your voice, and collaborate with others for social change. Follow what excites you rather than what you “should” be doing. Savor, savor, savor. Focus on the experience, rather than how you are being perceived.
If you’re luteal → Notice what feels draining vs nourishing. Note the parts of your life that don’t feel alive anymore. Refine your boundaries. Listen to your intuition, and redirect where you can.

With so much love, I will see you next month for the 6! While April is zingy and fun, May will be cozy, nurturing, and rooted in love. Check back in to see how to make the most of it all ;)
Xoxo,
DaisyJane
